Cobell Scholarship Fund

Empowering Native scholars

Investing in the education of American Indian and Alaska Native students.

The Cobell Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to American Indian and Alaska Native students pursuing post-secondary and graduate education. Named for Elouise Cobell, the fund continues her lifelong work on behalf of Native communities.

What we do

We award need- and merit-based scholarships to students enrolled in federally recognized tribes, supporting vocational, undergraduate, and graduate study. Scholars receive funding alongside guidance to help them complete their degrees and bring their skills home.

Every award is an investment in Native self-determination — in educators, scientists, attorneys, artists, and leaders who strengthen their nations for generations to come.
